The Jar Family

The Jar Family are fast becoming one of the most exciting live acts in the UK "I've never seen a band look more comfortable in a venue" KYEO TV, in addition to creating a large wave of media interest across the country and radio support from the likes of BBC London, Amazing Radio and even BBC 6Music's Tom Robinson. The lad's - originally from Hartlepool - jokingly claim to have invented the genre of 'Industrial Folk' which has seen them as one of the must have bands at festivals and live events this year.  So far in 2012, they have opened for Ocean Colour Scene’s Steve Craddock and the infamous Alabama 3, followed by a run of tour dates and festival appearances across the UK, appearing on the bill alongside The Charlatans, Babyshambles, Lucy Rose, Jakwob, Roni Size, Josh Kumra, The Felice Brothers, Ren Harvieu, The Sunshine Underground, King Charles, Jake Bugg

Their 'October of Oxjam' involves 2000 miles to cover, playing at 15 gigs across just 10 nights.
