James Herring

A singer/songwriter from Rugby, merges his passion for rock and love for folk and country into his acoustic driven songs.

The end of last year marked the launch of his solo career with his début EP 'A Place To Call Home' being released to the world. Gaining momentum, James has enjoyed playing festivals such as Godiva Festival (Coventry), Artsfest (Birmingham), Worcester Music Festival and as well as many other bars, pubs and cafes.

James' music is written from the heat of trials to the heights of joy. Asking questions and answering others, he aspires to take listeners on a journey of hope and happiness and invites all to share in his take on life. His music is inspired by artists such as Newton Faulkner, Mumford & Sons, Ben Howard and Kings Of Leon.

"His voice encapsulates the tender vulnerability of Athlete's Joel Pott meeting the rugged, soulfulness of Marcus Mumford. His ethereal voice carrying his delicate lyricism transports you into his world"

As he continues to build his fan base, he is set to release a larger 6 track EP at the start of the new year, alongside an official video and single
